The rubber impeller and the metal impeller differ greatly in their characteristics:
The rubber impeller is generally better at corrosion resistance than the metal impeller (high chromium), but the corrosion resistance is not very good. The metal high-chromium alloy impeller generally has good wear resistance. Therefore, when selecting the slurry pump, the material of the impeller must be selected according to the customer's industrial and mining conditions and the composition of the slurry. Generally, for alloys of nickel, molybdenum and other minerals which are not very abrasive, the rubber pump can be selected; for iron ore, gold ore, etc., the metal lining is selected.
